As a rule of thumb big companies and service providers will never send you an email with an attachment. The reason is that these companies are often used by spammers, virus distributors and other Internet criminals for phishing attacks and other types of Internet crimes. Most big companies know this and therefore have a policy of not sending emails with attachments to their customers.
